Historical society set for embroidery talk in Maybole

The next meeting of Maybole Historical Society will hear a talk on ‘The History of Ayrshire White Work’ in the Castle.

The meeting will be on Monday 6th February, starting at 7.30pm when Catherine Szerkawska will be the speaker on the ‘White Work’, local embroidery crafts which became a worldwide phenomenon.
