Council calls for views on new children's unit in Maybole

Residents in Maybole will have the chance to put their views on the location of proposed new children's residential units at a consultation exercise with a community events organised by South Ayrshire Council.

The Council plans to open three new six-bed facilities across South Ayrshire, replace the existing residential child care units in Ayr, with one of the proposed sites at Queens Terrace in Maybole.

The Council is seeking views from members of the local communities on the proposed Maybole site, and is holding a consultation events in Maybole Town Hall at 7pm on Wednesday 3rd March.

The consultation on the locations of the children's units will run until Wednesday 31st March. Anyone wishing to put forward their views can pick up a leaflet at Council offices and facilities in Maybole and North Ayr.
Alternatively, you can attend one of the consultation events or visit the website at www.south-ayrshire.gov.uk/consultations

WHY NOT SITE IT AT THE OLD POORSHOUSE SITE ,INBETWEEN THE POLICE STATION AND THE FIRE STATION THE TWO SERVICES THEY WILL NEED THE MOST !!!
